When watching an 80's music video, it's really hard to believe that they are not supposed to be comical -- but rather relay a somber tale of lost love or a broken heart.  All you need is a dramatically lit room, backlight, fog machine, candles, awkward closeups and apparently some arbitrary ninjas/fighting of some kind. This video disects the complexity behind making the "Total Eclipse of the Heart" music video...and the cheesiness is intense.
