Big congratulations to Rhett and Link, who won our first ever Contest of Awesome for the video "Fast Food Folk Song."
 
We started the Key of Awesome as a weekly music parody show in late October 2009.  As part of the show we teamed up with Weezer for a contest where the creators of 2009's best YouTube music comedy video would get the chance to appear in a Weezer music video.
 
The voting public and our judges panel took a look at a great group of 12 finalists and selected Rhett and Link as the winner.  More details on the winning video are here.
 
Huge thanks to our judging panel for participating.  Baratunde Thurston from the Onion.  Michael Buckley from the "What the Buck?" Show.  The Gregory Brothers, creators of Autotune the News.  Mark Douglas, who performs weekly in "The Key of Awesome".  And Weezer, the rock band who just released a fantastic new album Ratitude.  All 5 of these people are online video innovators in their own right and we appreciate their participating.
