I've been hearing a lot about Heavy Rain lately and honestly, after seeing this video, I just might pick it up tonight.

Heavy Rain is an interactive movie AND a console game; you control the characters and use them to solve a murder.  Until you do, the "movie" isn't over.

Of course, since I haven't played the game at all yet I really can't say much more, but this commentary shows off how gameplay works ("hold L2 to hear your character's thoughts").  As a bonus, the commentary is pretty lolsy:
